The hubby turned 40 not very long ago. He is not one to make a big deal out of things, so we kept the celebration extremely low-key. He was trying to decide what he wanted for his milestone birthday, and wasn't being very quick about it. Thinking he was going to wind up with no gift, I made the executive decision to order an iPad. However, I'm such a cool wife that I didn't do it in time and it was backordered. Instead he got a picture of an iPad:

Ironically, he finally determined the day before his birthday that the time was right to trade in his old car for a new one (between turning 40 and getting a promotion it seemed a good way to celebrate). So he had a present on the actual day after all. I don't have a picture of him with the car yet though.

You had a pretty good birthday I'd say. Love the car and the iPad. Your wife has good taste. Now you just need to take the car to Seattle and visit!
Or even out to Windust! When I heard about the car, I assumed the iPad was a thing of the future, but you really DO have a cool wife, Marc! I'm so glad you had a great birthday -- one of these days I'll get to see the car?
Mmmmm...iPad.
